Truancy Court Program Receives Third Grant from Maryland Administrative Office of the Courts

The Md. Administrative Office of the Courts has provided additional funding for the Center for Families, Children and the Courts' Truancy Court Program. When combined with a federal grant and support from the Charles Crane Family Foundation, the funding will allow CFCC to bring the program to two more schools in Baltimore and establish it in Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Prince George's, and Montgomery counties.
Law School Retrofitted with Green Roof

A new, 7,500 square foot green roof, complete with live plants that produce oxygen and a drainage system that reduces stormwater runoff, will be installed on the University of Baltimore School of Law building. The installation is part of the University’s ongoing efforts to create a more sustainable campus that uses less energy and reduces its impact on the environment.
Law School's Judicial Placements Set Record, Span Courthouses in Maryland and Beyond

The University of Baltimore School of Law placed 131 UB law students in judicial internships this summer - experiences that expose students to both the rigors and the level of commitment that are demanded of the successful legal practitioner. The placement rate represents a new record for the school, and is perhaps one of the best in the country.
