A keynote address by acclaimed author Maya Angelou will conclude the second annual Feminist Legal Theory and Feminisms Conference March 5-6 at the University of Baltimore School of Law. The conference will bring together law students, legal academics, practitioners and activists to explore the concrete ways in which feminist legal theory is (or is not) changing the law.
Economic Reality of Life in Professional Sports is Topic of First Sports Law Symposium, Feb. 26

The School of Law will host its first annual Sports Law Symposium, "From Rookie to Retirement: The NFL Universe in the New Economy," on Feb. 26. Baltimore Ravens President Richard Cass will lead a panel of sports agents, league attorneys, and active NFL players in a scintillating discussion of the economic lives of professional athletes.
