The Law Library has upgraded to the ILLiad system for interlibrary loan
UB Law faculty, students and staff can borrow books, articles and other materials that are not owned or accessible at UB from one of our electronic journal databases. ILLiad posts your book and article requests directly from WorldCat (and most of our other article databases) without the need to re-type bibliographic information. It will also allow you to view what items you have checked out and renew them online. ILLiad will deliver most articles via email and will automatically keep you informed about the status of your ILL requests. If you are on Worldcat simply use the option for “Request this Item through Interlibrary Loan” and if you are in our catalog, simply choose “Request Item”. Read more about ILLiad.
New Library Laptops and Power Cords
The Law Library has a selection of laptops available for checkout to Law students and law faculty. Each laptop comes with a charger, and can be borrowed for 7 days with one renewal.
We also have a series of power cords available to Law students and faculty, for 24-hour loans (no renewals). The cords fit the following connectors:
PC connectors: Acer, Asus, Compaq, Dell, Fujitsu, Gateway, HP, IBM/Lenovo, Sony, Toshiba, LG, and MSI
Apple connectors: Macbook Air, Macbook Pro 13”, and Macbook Pro 15”
