A new Web page describes the University of Baltimore's planned building for the School of Law—the new John and Frances Angelos Law Center. The facility, slated to be constructed on a UB-owned parcel at the intersection of Charles Street and Mt. Royal Avenue and projected to open in 2012, will be a transformative building for the UB campus and an architectural landmark for central Baltimore.
'Art of the Olympiad' Show Opens at University of Baltimore School of Law

The nation's official Olympic Triathlon Team poster for 2008 is part of a new exhibition, "Art of the Olympiad," now on display in the School of Law Art Gallery. It's just one of several sports-inspired pieces by artist Michael E. Jones, who is also a New Hampshire District Court judge, legal studies professor, formally-trained artist, elite athlete, and former member of the adjunct faculty at the School of Law.

A request for proposal for design of a new facility for the University of Baltimore School of Law has been issued by the University System of Maryland, through its regional service center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
$5 Million Angelos Gift for New Law Building

The University of Baltimore has announced the largest private donation ever received by the institution - a $5 million donation from UB School of Law alumnus Peter Angelos, LL.B. '61. The dollar-for-dollar matching pledge will be used to support construction of a $107 million law building at Charles Street and Mt. Royal Avenue.
Truancy Court Program Receives Second Maryland Administrative Office of the Courts Grant

The Md. Administrative Office of the Courts has renewed its funding for the Center for Families, Children and the Courts' Truancy Court Program with a grant of $170,000. CFCC plans to establish and operate the TCP in six local schools this fall.
