Charles Tiefer, professor in the School of Law and former solicitor and deputy general counsel of the United States House of Representatives, has been named one of three new members of the Commission on Wartime Contracting.

The University of Baltimore School of Law has hired Rebecca Saybolt Bainum as its new director of Academic Services. An attorney and experienced law school administrator, Bainum will be responsible for a host of duties related to law students' academic achievement.
