We value the role that Maryland's judges play in preparing our students for legal practice through judicial internships and clerkships.
Through our innovative EXPLOR Program, initiated over a decade ago by our office and Professor Byron Warnken, the Judicial Internship Program, and the success of our graduates in securing coveted judicial clerkships, we are fortunate to enjoy such a longstanding and productive relationship with the Maryland judiciary.
In fact, the School of Law ranks as one of the top law schools for judicial clerkship placements. Each year, between 20% to 25% UB Law graduates secure a judicial clerkship, compared with only 9% of law students nationally. We have the loyal support of Maryland's judges to thank for our exemplary placement record.
