The Sayra and Neil Meyerhoff Center for Families, Children and the Courts plans to host its 6th annual Urban Child Symposium on Thursday, April 3, 2014. This year’s symposium is entitled "Social Media and the Urban Child: The Effects of the Digital Age" and features panels on:
- The Social Media Landscape and Its Effects on Individuals, Families, and Communities
- The Law (how social media has victimized people, privacy, safety issues, cyberbullying)
- Pros and Cons – Parents and Children
